Prof. Lingjie Du, Nanjing University, China

Lingjie Du is a professor and Ph.D. advisor in the School of Physics at Nanjing University.He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Nanjing University in 2008 and 2011 (supervised by Prof. Yu Yang) and his Ph.D. degree from Rice University in 2016 (supervised by Prof. Ruirui Du).He did his postdoctoral research at Columbia University from 2016-2019 (Prof. Aron Pinczuk).He joined in 2019 School of Physics, Nanjing University. His research area is the experimental study of novel electronic states and topological phenomena in artificial structures of semiconductors. In recent years, novel electronic structures and quantum states such as semiconductor artificial honeycomb lattices, topological excitonic insulators and fractional quantum Hall gravitons have been observed in group III-V semiconductor quantum well materials using advanced micro and nano processing techniques combined with low temperature transport and optical measurements, and a series of research results have been obtained, which have been published in leading international physics journals such as PRL, Nature and Science subjournals He has published more than 20 papers in leading international physics journals such as PRL, Nature and Science.

杜灵杰,南京大学物理学院教授,博士生导师。2008年和2011年于南京大学获得学士和硕士学位(导师于扬教授),2016年于莱斯大学获得博士学位(导师杜瑞瑞教授)。2016-2019年在哥伦比亚大学从事博士后研究工作(Aron Pinczuk教授)。2019年加入南京大学物理学院。研究领域是半导体人工结构中新型电子态和拓扑现象的实验研究。近年来,在III-V族半导体量子阱材料中,利用先进微纳加工技术,结合低温输运和光学的测量手段,观察到了半导体人工蜂窝晶格,拓扑激子绝缘体和分数量子霍尔引力子等新奇电子结构和量子物态,取得了一系列研究成果,在PRL,Nature和Science子刊等国际一流物理期刊上发表论文20余篇。
