Chong Sheng is mainly engaged in the research of Meta-photonic chips, transformation optics and quantum optics. The main academic achievements are as follows: 1) the integrated photonic devices on photonic chips, such as optical transformational microcavities for omnidirectional wide-band light capture, the non-diffraction beam, the directional scattering protected by the topology. 2) Quantum simulations on photonic chips: the simulation of the evolution of particle pairs with the positive and negative energy near the event horizon of a black hole, and the entropy of entangled photon pairs in the accelerated space. Some of these works have been published in authoritative journals such as Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, and National Science Review. In 2019, he won the first prize in the basic research category selected by the Optical Society of China. And in 2021, he won the Youth Optical Science and Technology Award selected by the Optical Society of Jiangsu Province.
盛冲主要从事超构光子芯片，变换光学及量子光学的研究。主要学术成果如下：1）在光子芯片上实现了集成功能器件：全方向宽波段捕获的光学微腔，非衍射光束以及受拓扑保护定向光子散射器件。2）在光子芯片开展了量子模拟的研究：模拟了黑洞视界并研究其附近正负能量粒子对的演化以及纠缠光子对在加速空间中纠缠熵的演化。相关工作发表在权威期刊Nature Photonics、Nature Communications、 National Science Review上。2019年获得首届中国光学学会基础研究类一等奖，2021年获得江苏省光学学会评选青年光学科技奖。
