Prof. Linfeng Sun, Beijing Institute of Technology, China


Dr. Linfeng Sun got his Phd degree in 2016, from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and he was awarded the “Chinese government award for outstanding self-financed students abroad”. After that, he continued his research career as a postdoc in Singapore University of Science and Technology, and Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea. From Jan 2018, Dr. Sun was promoted as Research Profesor in SKKU and was selected as “Korean Research Fellow” . He joined Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in Jan 2021, and was selected as “National High-level Talents Program”, “Teli Young Scholar in BIT”. Prof Sun’s research area focused on physical device design of novel memristive device based in-memory computing neuromorphic computing chips and published some creative works as a first author in some prestigious journals like, Science Advances, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, etc. He has been invited to write the review paper for the journals like Advanced Intelligent Systems, Nanotechnology, Frontier in Neuroscience, etc, and served as the Youth Editorial Member of the journal “SmartMat” and the assistant editor of the journal “Nano-Micro Letters”. After joined BIT, Prof Sun got the financial supports from National Science Foundation for Young Scientists of China(PI), and key program of Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation. Some of his works have been selected in 2021 Roadmap of Neuromorphic Computing and Engineering, and highlighted by mainstream news medias outlets including Tencent News, Netease News, etc. 


孙林锋教授于2016年博士毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学,期间荣获国家留学基金委授予的“优秀海外留学生奖”。曾先后在新加坡科技大学、韩国成均馆大学开展博士后研究,并与2018年1月起,在成均馆大学担任研究教授,并入选韩国科技部资助的海外引才计划“高丽学者”。2021年1月加入北京理工大学,任教授、博士生导师,同年,入选“国家海外青年人才支持计划”、北京理工大学“特立青年学者”,。孙教授的研究方向为基于新型忆阻器件的存算一体类脑计算芯片物理原型设计。迄今以第一作者在Science Advances, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters,等高水平期刊上发表多项研究成果,并受邀为Advanced Intelligent System, Nanotechnology, Frontier in Neuroscience等期刊撰写综述。担任SmartMat青年编委,Nano-Micro Letters (影响因子: 16.419)编辑部成员。回国后,孙教授担任国家自然科学基金青年项目负责人,北京市自然科学基金重点项目负责人。其科研成果先后入选2021类脑计算和工程技术路线图,以及被腾讯、网易科技前沿等主流媒体追踪报道。
