Prof. Yujun Song, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China

Dr. Yujun Song is currently a full Professor in Applied Physics at University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), Deputy Director of Center for Modern Physics Research. After obtaining his Ph D degree in Materials science & Engineering in 2000, Dr. Song has successively worked at Center for Advanced Microstructures and Devices of Louisiana State University and Applied Research Center of Old Dominion University for 8 years, studied at Materials Science Department of University of Toronto for one year and School of Engineering and Applied Science of Harvard University for one and half years. Before joining in USTB, he has worked at Department of Materials Science & Engineering of Beihang University for 7 Years. His research areas are focusing in surface and interface controlled fabrication of functional nano/micro materials for biomedical engineering, new energy & industrial catalysis and information technology. Dr. Song has been responsible for more than 30 research funds as PI, such as the major science and technology projects of Ministry of Sci & Tech of China, the general projects and the special projects for regional and international cooperation of NSFC. He also took part in many special funds as key scientists, such as the major project on bio-nanoscience of NIH, the major project on nanoscience of NSF; the major project on biosensor of DARPA. Dr. Song has published more than 70 peer-reviewed SCI papers, 32 issued patents and edited 2 books. Dr. Song serves for China Society of Micro-Nano Technology Associate as fellow, several SCI journals (e.g., Sci Rep, coatings) as editorial board members, and National Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada as one panel judge of projects. He also awarded the second class of 2009 excellent scientific article award of Beijing Youth Scientist,the 2016 First Class Award of Science and Technology Award issued by the Chinese Materials Research Society and one of the 10 excellent academic awards of USTB in 2019.

宋玉军,北京科技大学,教授、博导,现代物理技术中心副主任,现代物理与医工信交叉创新团队负责人,浙江省脉冲电场技术医学转化重点实验室主任,中国微米纳米技术学会理事。2000年获博士学位后,在多伦多大学、哈佛大学等单位留学和工作。其主要研究方向为微纳米材料介导现代物理与生物医学、新能源和信息科技交叉创新的基础理论和应用技术研究。作为负责人主持国家重大科技专项子课题、国家自然基金委国际(地区)合作专项、国家自然基金委面上项目及省部级和企业课题30余项。在Small、Chem Mater、SCIENCE CHINA Mater等期刊发表100多篇论文,授权国家发明专利30部,主编3部英文专著。获2009年北京市青年优秀科技论文奖二等奖、2016年中国材料研究学会科学技术一等奖、2019北科大十大学术进展等奖励。任Sci Rep、Coatings等期刊编委和客座主编。国家科技重大专项及多个国家级和省部级项目和基金、加拿大自然科学和工程研究理事会专家组成员。
